Original message by Texas-Lady08: "Hello , I am from a small city in Texas from which there is alot of corruption, I am going thru a hardtime right now since my husband is in jail right now and waiting for his court date on immigration. Can someone out there, give me an idea or knows of what is the time frame sentencing for a person being deported for the 3rd time with a previous felony in record of transporting illegal alliens , served time and finished with nothing pending. As of now it is his fourth time in jail with that major felony and right now the only charge that he has is reentry for the fourth time , but to my understanding is that if you have a record specially a felony even though you serve time and finished , federal court will still consider it. Can anyone outthere help with this doubt, i just want to have moreless an idea of the time sentence for a person like that and if there is something that can reduce his time when he goes to court to get deported faster or if there is a new law to get deported, please let me know, keep in mind that I do not trust anyattorney in this city and am afraid that they will not do their job..............please let me know anything, anybody outthere.........................and if my husband request an out of town judge?"

Texas-Lady08, I'm sorry you're having difficulties. This forum is for paralegals to communicate with one another and we cannot and do not give legal advice here. While we share our knowledge of our profession with one another for use in our work, we do not provide services to the public. I regret that we cannot assist you directly.

I'll leave this thread open for a few days so that posters may provide information about Texas immigration attorneys if they wish to do so.
