What should a "complete and detailed analysis of a problem" look like on paper after you have completed a thourough analysis using the IRAC method?

I have an assignment due in my legal analysis, writing and research class and would really appreciate any input.

Thanks all.

A complete and detailed analysis is the result of using the IRAC method. Issues: What questions of law is the court going to answer? Rules: What rules of black letter law are being addressed? Analysis: The analysis the court's reasoning. Or if you are doing your own analysis, you are applying the law to the facts of the case. For example, Mrs. A. is before the court because she shot and killed her husband. Those are the facts. The rule of law the court would apply to the facts would depend on why she shot and killed her husband. Conclusion: This is the court's holding. Or, if you are writing your own analysis, the conclusion is what the result should be based on the application of the law to the facts.
